2002 Ford Taurus - Hood & Rear Bumper Repair

Painted Hood and Rear Bumper

2002 Ford Taurus
This customer ran a used car lot and brought me little jobs like this Ford Taurus. Someone had put a replacement hood on it. The hood came in the black primer that is not made to be exposed without a coating of something on it.
Needless to say, the hood started getting a surface rust. The rear bumper's clear coat had started peeling so that required sanding it down and repainting it.
The driver's front fender had a weird bend up near the hood hinge, but I was able to straighten it out without having to paint it. The hood was an easy sand, primer and paint.
The paint was always provided by the car dealer so I never knew what I was going to be working with, or if it would match. However this turned out really well, I think I had it all done in a day's time.
All of my cars in my pictures and videos are actual real customer's cars, so usually my main focus is to get the job done. However, I plan to do better in the future on collecting more photos.
