2005 Honda Civic - Frontend Collision Repair
frontend repair - paint and blend
Work Done By RodsShop
This 05 Honda Civic rear-ended a car in front of him, resulting in bending a lot of the front sheet-metal. The damage was severe enough to damage the radiator support, the front bumper reinforcement and the hood hinges.
The owner took the car for an estimate all over our area and the cheapest price was $4500, which was more than the car was worth. Plus he was still making payments to a used car lot. I did the full repair for $1700. Had to replace the radiator support, replace hood, brackets, hings, front bumper reinforcement, cover and the left front fender, along with a new grill and headlamp assemblies.
I have a video on YouTube of me replacing the radiator support. Once I got the structure back intact, I painted the new front end parts and blended back onto the doors.
All of my cars in my pictures and videos are actual real customer's cars, so usually my main focus is to get the job done. However I plan to do better in the future.
