Disassembly

  8. Remove Fuel Lines: Disconnect fuel lines from the fuel rails using appropriate tools.
  9. Disconnect Fuel Injector, IGN Coil Pack Connectors and Remove IGN Coil Packs: Disconnect connectors, remove bolts, and take out coil packs.
  10. Cowl Vent Wiper Unit Removal: Remove the wiper unit to access bolts hindering manifold removal.

  3. Reassemble Throttle Body: Clean surfaces, install throttle body, reconnect hoses and electrical connectors, and reinstall throttle spring.
  4. Swap Over Any Sensors: Transfer or replace sensors on the manifold, ensuring proper sealing and thread sealing.
  5. Reinstall Back Bracket: Attach the bracket that bolts to the back of the engine.
  6. Reinstall Alternator: Reconnect wires and connectors to the alternator, install bolts, and tighten.
  7. Serpentine Belt – Upper Radiator Hose: Replace the serpentine belt if necessary, ensuring proper routing. Reattach upper radiator hose.
  8. Reinstall the Air Intake Tube – Engine Cover: Attach the air intake tube, reconnect sensors, and reinstall the engine cover.
  9. Fluids – Battery – Start: Refill coolant reservoir, check for leaks, reconnect battery, and start the engine. Check for leaks again and monitor coolant level.
